COVID-19: Return to Work Plan

Rescue Technologies Limited (RTL), is a Health and security emergency response solutions company that provides individuals and corporate organizations with access to emergency response services. These services are delivered through the EMRO platform and by partnering with several value providers across industries to deliver quick and effective emergency response service within its areas of operations.

With the emerging coronavirus (COVID 19) pandemic whose incidence and geographic spread is rapidly increasing and threatens ALL states and Nations of the world, RTL, an emergency response organization with well-trained ALS medics, Rescue Technologies Limited has been approved and licensed by NAFDAC to import and distribute COVID-19 Rapid Antibody Test Kits in Nigeria. These Kits were used successfully by Germany and Korea in the beginning of the spread of the pandemic in their countries. Eventually the test labs were overrun with tests and taking many days to deliver results. Countries with Rapid Antibody Testing had lower death rates than countries like Spain, Italy, US, UK who relied on slow molecular PCR testing. RTL tests are designed for mass testing and will show which results should go on to PCR testing. The company supplies all PPE including n95 masks etc. in large volumes (millions)

Sequel to the recent pronouncement by the Federal Government to reopen the Nigerian economy during the active phase of the COVID 19 pandemic, the baton for the prevention of community spread of the infection has just been passed to employers of labor, with the workplace been the focal point to address. It therefore necessitates that organizations must embrace very clear and detailed return to work policies that will bring employees back to work in the safest and most flexible manner while also ensuring the overall safety of the workplace. The return to work objectives must be comprehensive enough to consider the people, office environment and business operations, as we know that it can no longer be business as usual.

RTL working modalities must change for the foreseeable future due to the effect of the pandemic, if the war is to be won.
