The LASEIC Chairman said the voting process will be from 8:00am and ends at 3:00pm.

However, the All Progress Congress (APC) won all the local governments across the state with a clean sweep of the polls.

In a related development, the Ogun state Governor, Dapo Abiodun in his country home at Iperu Remo cast his vote despite low voters turnout with streets deserted. Twelve political parties participated in the exercise to be elected in 236 wards in 20 local governments areas across the state.

The law enforcement agents were seen enforcing restriction of vehicular movements with order put in place by the Ogun state police command.
