Manchester City Wins Premier League Title as Arsenal Lost Title Again

Manchester City on Sunday defeated West Ham 3-1 to win a 10th Premier League title.

The club managed by coach Pep Guardiola have also captured a historic title four times in a row.

The latest league triumph was after City pipped rivals Arsenal on the last day of action.

While City notched 91 points, Arsenal finished with 89 points, despite their 2-1 win over Everton at the Emirates.

Arsenal came into the match needing victory and hoping City failed to do so at home to West Ham.

On the other hand, Chelsea confirmed their qualification for the Conference League play-off round courtesy of a 2-1 win against Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League.

Manchester United beat Brighton & Hove Albion 2-0 at The Amex in the Premier League.

Erik ten Hag and Manchester United finish outside the European places, but their domestic campaign is not over – they face Manchester City in the FA Cup final next Saturday.

United, who have suffered their lowest league finish since the league’s formation in 1992, now must beat Manchester City in the FA Cup Final at Wembley next weekend in order to compete in Europe next season.
