NAPE Holds 42nd Annual International Conference in Lagos

Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE) holds its 42nd Annual International Conference and Exhibition, themed: “Resolving the Nigerian Energy Trilemma: Energy Security, Sustainable Growth and Affordability’ from November 10th to 14th   in Lagos.

Delegates comprising of experts, policy makers and global oil and gas investments stakeholders will grace the occasion.

According to the President of the association, Dr. Abiodun Ogunjobi, the group is expecting between 1,500 and 2,000 delegates in Lagos for the conference and about 125 golfers comprising of Senators and senior leaders in the industry for the golf event in Abuja.

Ogunjobi who was speaking at a press conference stated that energy security is the cornerstone of the nation’s economic stability and growth, ensuring a reliable and uninterrupted supply of energy is paramount for industrial activities, economic development, and the wellbeing of our citizens.

He said: “This involves not only increasing our production capabilities but also diversifying our energy sources to reduce dependency on any single source. By enhancing our energy infrastructure and investing in resilient systems, we can safeguard against disruptions and ensure a steady flow of energy to meet our growing demands”.

NAPE event is one of the oil and gas conferences in sub-Saharan attracting key stakeholders from different parts of the globe.
