The Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) which is the Technical and Commercial Regulator of Midstream and Downstream Operations has urged petroleum marketers and other operators in the North-East to strictly adhere to safety procedures to guard against incessant fire disaster at filling stations.
At a stakeholders meeting with professionals across the North-East, the Authority made it known that if safety precautionary means are put in place it will prevent disasters, loss of lives and property.
