Stakeholders in Niger Delta said most youth restiveness witnessed in the region was due to insincerity on the part of governance. Stakeholders in the region including partnership initiative in the Niger Delta while submitting a report to Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu on how to reposition the region said all hands must be on deck as well as sincerity of purpose to bring the needed change to the region.
Niger Deltans should embrace agricultural policy to improve welfare of the region which must be emphasised.
There is no any reason or doubt that the recommendations will not be implemented and some high-level intervention by government to broker competition with funding.
Stakeholders said the government need to articulate strategies that stimulate economic growth, employment generation as well as full security in the region.
