It is no longer rumours or speculation about his presidential ambition as the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu informed President Muhammadu Buhari of his intention to contest for the highest office of the land.
He spoke with State House Correspondents after a meeting at the Presidential Villa with President Buhari.
It will be recalled that the former Governor of Lagos State and APC Chieftain until now has never made his ambition open to the public. This declaration has paved the way for Tinubu and other aspirants to make their intentions known soon as 2022 is seen as an election year with preparations in top gear by political parties and politicians across the country.
